About

Dr. Kirsti Neely, D.C.

A teacher and personal trainer before she was a chiropractor — and a chiropractic patient long before that.

Dr. Kirsti Neely, Doctor of Chiropractic

Dr. Neely earned her Chiropractic degree at Palmer College in San Jose, California. She honed her skills as a relief doctor in a number of Bay Area chiropractic offices before becoming the sole proprietor of Marina Chiropractic, which she ran for years on the corner of Chestnut and Scott Streets in San Francisco's Marina District. Today the practice is mobile, and she brings the office to her patients across San Francisco and Marin.

She also holds an Honors degree in Kinesiology and a Bachelor's degree in Education from Lakehead University in Ontario. As a former personal trainer, Dr. Neely combines nutrition, exercise, and chiropractic care to build greater mobility, energy, and vitality in her patients — which is why the exercise side of her practice tends to be more specific than most.

Before becoming a chiropractor she taught Physical Education and Biology at her old high school in Stratford, Ontario.

Dr. Neely's interest in chiropractic began where many patients' does — as a patient herself. As a young athlete competing in figure skating, volleyball, tennis, and other sports, she credits chiropractic care with keeping her off the sidelines throughout her athletic career. She gravitated naturally to the profession, as did two of her brothers, one practicing in Canada and another in Hong Kong.

She continues to promote health through exercise, proper nutrition, and an active lifestyle, and still competes and participates in several sports herself.
